I brought these for our bathroom door whilst redecorating,and was delighted with the service, prompt delivery and quality of the product. I have now moved onto decorating the landing/ stairwell/ hallway and am seriously considering buying further brass door handles for the other room doors…that’s rather a lot…so will need to save up! However, the quality and authentic look would be well worth it!

Great looking door knobs and very easy to assemble

Very nice door knob, easy to install in any type of door.

Nicely made, quality product. Note that there are grub screws to remove and then you need to unscrew the handles. Grub screws are slightly fiddly to refit so I gave that task to my wife to complete :). Looks great on our original but newly refurbished doors

These doorknobs really are beautifully made. They capture the exact style of the period and feel as solid and heavy as you would hope.

The super bonus attentions to detail which impressed me most were the antiqued screws provided and - joy of joys - a spare pair of grubscrews and an allen key to fit them. The price was lower than many other less impressive offerings from other sites too, which has to make these 11/10 or more than five stars! Highly recommended!

These are nice heavy knobs and my wife likes them which means they must be good as she is difficult to please/has impeccable taste! I recommend these totally.

Lovely quality door handles, our builder really pleased, the only downside is that the screws are black and we are now going out to buy brass screws.

Been a builder for 30 years + Fitted many doors. These knobs are very good quality, and more reminiscent of Frank Allart quality at half the price. I do think a nice additional touch would be for them to be available pre-antiqued as they are very shiny until the patina has developed, other than that would highly recommend.

We have spent many years renovating our house and trying to keep some of the older style fixtures and fittings. We have previously obtained door handles from a reclamation yard but as it is currently closed I went for this option. Exactly what I wanted with all the correct screws etc. Would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

Fab door handles, can’t believe the price as really they warrant a larger mark up. They are smaller than other door knobs on the market but their size are more authentic to the original Victorian door knobs

The brass door knobs arrived very promptly, and in excellent condition, individually boxed so no problems could occur in transit. I would recommend vintage door knob centre.

I've bought a few pairs of these to replace rubbish, plastic handles that the previous owner installed in my Victorian property! These brass handles are nice and weighty, look authentic and are simple to fit coming supplied with an allen key for installation. the brass does dull with over time and with use but imo this adds to the look on a period property. Recommended.

My late Victorian property had a mixture of some Bakelite door knobs and a couple of small cottage knobs in brass. I wanted period style handles and found exactly what I wanted at Vintage Door Knobs. They are solid brass, heavy and the overall quality is very good. I was very impressed with the way the knobs screw onto the shaft as it allowed minor adjustments to be made to allow a perfect fit. My only criticism was that the screws supplied for fixing the rose were not quite as good quality as the remainder of the parts and I ended up using some other screws that I had to hand. I would certainly recommend this product and Vintage Door Knobs as a supplier.

A really nice quality door handle - well designed and easy to fit. Chunky, solid brass knob and a screw-fit spindle so opening the door doesn't pull on the door-plate screws. The door-plates were slightly smaller than my originals, so some painting was required.

Over the years our village hall was 'improved ' by the addition of chrome and aluminium door handles. i am now in the process of reinstating the brass fittings, some of which i found hidden away. i needed more, and finding originals too costly, found this site and purchased their brass door knobs. The quality of these knobs, surpasses the original fittings by a long way. They are made of heavy solid brass, and are very easy to fit, to variable thicknesses of door by a simple adjustment system. They are really 1st class, and will still be there in another hundred years. They are unvarnished which is preferred by me , as our cleaner is addicted to brass polishing.
